In 2006, Stéphane Hamel created WASP, the Web Analytics Solution Profiler, the first tool specifically designed to help digital marketers decode the hidden signals sent by tags and trackers. WASP became a global standard, used by thousands to audit and debug tracking implementations.
Twenty years later, the web has grown infinitely more complex. MANTIS — the Machine-Augmented Network Tag Intelligence System — is the spiritual successor to WASP. It transitions from simple pattern matching to a modern, AI-augmented engine capable of resolving causal hierarchies in real-time.

MANTIS draws on two decades of work in digital analytics, tagging quality, privacy operations, and data governance. It is built for practitioners who need to connect browser behavior to audit evidence without overstating what automation can prove.
